Ah the great sign off. How do we create a sign off that is professional but not too stuffy? How do you say " I'm all over this" without actually saying it?
The fact that the sign off is such a minuscule moment on the email makes it all the more difficult to traverse. In the last 6 months I have gone with "cheers" which while reflecting that I am laid back and love what I do, can come off unprofessional. My goal is to find a middle ground.
So the great sign off challenge begins!!
It will remain as "cheers" until the 31st of May and from the 1st of June I will be changing my sign off every day for the month of June. Don't believe me? Send me an email on two consecutive days and try me.
I would love any suggestions you may have as it may be getting a bit loose come the end of June!
